I have been inundated (Big word) with awards and tags, so I decided to do one big post for your reading pleasure.

• Do you listen to music while writing?
  • Yes, I like to turn on Pandora and listen to something. Sometimes it gets distracting and I’ll turn it off.
• What kind of music do you listen to on a normal basis(music around the house)?
  • I like to listen to movie themes (I just borrowed the Cinderella soundtrack from the library and I’m loving it) and pop songs.
• Do you like artichoke hearts? (guys. They’re amazing)
  • Those are so delicious ;-).
• What was your most recent blog post about?
  • I just did a collab with Hannah @ Crafts of All Seasons on bullet journal-ling tips. You should definitely check out her blog! It’s great!
• Do you have a dog? (If not you really need one. They’re amazing animals)
  • I do not have a dog. I think they’re cute but I don’t want to own any pets (sorry future kids 😜)

• 1) Who is God to you?
  • God is my Heavenly Father, one who is always with me. I can always turn to him with my troubles.
• 2) Which book of the Bible is your favorite?
  • I really like the book of Esther, oh, and Ruth. They both show women who had courage and followed God. Great examples of bravery and wisdom.
• 3) What was a defining moment in your life as a Christian?
  • I’m not really sure…
• 4) Who is your favorite Bible character and why?
  • I really admire Ruth. She shows wisdom and docility and love.
• 5) What is your favorite worship song and why?
  • Hmm…. His Mercy is More–it tells us that even though we have committed so so many sins, we are covered by His overflowing mercy.

  • I’m a child of God, who has her quirks and has artistic and intelligent qualities

• the youngest memory you have?
  • (Having a had time differentiating between family photos and home videos) I’m was picked up by my uncle and remember walking into the hospital and standing on the carpet lined step with my dad to see my newborn little sister. I was so excited, thinking, “That’s my little sister!”
• what did you last eat?
  • pizza from Costco. SO YUMMY!
• have any pets?
  • nope, don’t want any either.

Why did I start my blog? Well, a few of my friends and classmates were blogging and I thought it would fun to start too. I also wanted to share my art and thoughts with the whole wide world. Fun fact: I started my small business “quaint & darling” in 2013 and I sell handmade bracelets, felt keychains, ornaments, and lettering envelopes. Etsy shop may be coming soon…who knows?

I was a teensy tiny bit confused about the rules and questions, so I answered all the ones Syd did plus the ones she gave me.

• if you could be any book character, who would you be?
  • Not fair, perhaps Jo March from Little Women or Kendra Sorenson from Fablehaven by Brandon Mull. Anyone know Fablehaven??? I love the books (check out my post)!
• Star Trek or Star Wars?
  • I like both but Star War is FAR better to me. I love Leia, Luke, Han, Rey, and I might hate Kylo Ren. . .
• Harry Potter or Percy Jackson? (I wouldn’t be able to choose…)
  • Harry Potter! I’m not sure what house I’m in though. *in a dignified and highy and mighty voice* Percy Jackson messes up the true Greek and Roman mythology .
• what is your fondest memory?
  • That’s hard. . .maybe hiking on the Shirley Lake Trail at Northstar Resort in Lake Tahoe. The lake turned out to be a mucky pond and we ended up hiking all the way to the top and we got a free tram ride down. Such fun (and frustration)!
• ever been skydiving? if not, would you?
  • Not yet, I want to go so bad!!
• beach or forest?
  • What type of forest? This is such a hard question! I’ll pick forest by the beach *hehe*
• do you like cake?
  • YES, ESPECIALLY CHOCOLATE CAKE!
• what is your favorite thing about the area you live in?
  • The proximity to everywhere else 😉
• it’s a stormy day and your mom says you can’t go outside. what do you do?
  • I say HOORAY!! I love staying inside.
• what is one song you can’t stop listening to?
  • This is Me by Kesha from The Greatest Showman and Fight Song by Rachel Platten.
• do you have any siblings?
  • One little sister…
• have you ever been out-of-country?
  • Yes, I went on a super long flight to the Philippines.

  • LUNCH I need food!!

  • I use a laptop 😉
• do you use any social media besides wordpress?
  • Nope!

  • No, I consider myself an artist.
