Poetry is a wonder. It carries a musicality and rhythm. It describes feelings, circumstances, and stories in such a meaningful and expressive way. I thought that I would share a few of my poems. I’ve been influenced by this current time of chaos and uncertainty.

when the world outside
is breaking down…
your mind is no longer beside
your sanity…
we have no control to turn the tide
of this chaos
Let us abide
in Him, our everlasting hope.
His grace is greater, allied
with his control.
Amen.

raindrops in a cup
had I done this
had I done that
wistfully curious
never to know
the beauty of
looking back

throbbing, oozing
feeling. in my
chest. the world
spins by. chills
slide through my
fingers. deep
breaths and deep
sighs. sad times
no cliche. not
here. a sign
of humanity
