Tip Tuesday: Mail Art

Hiya and Happy Tuesday!

Today, we’ll be decorating envelopes. Who doesn’t like to receive gorgeous mail? I know I do🀩😍😊. Let’s get started, shall we?

You’ll need: three blank envelopes (I’m using these silvery ones), a paper plate, three or four different colors of acrylic paint, two stencils, and Q-tips.

Envelope 1

Pour some paint onto the paint. Dip a q-tip and stamp dots on the corner of the envelope.

Pour some more different colors of paint and continue dipping.

Envelope 2

stencil

Tape the stencil down so it doesn’t move. Using a q-tip, smear the paint through the stencil.

Continue with however many color you want

Lay out the stencil (to see how I made this stencil, check out this post) on top of the envelope. Using paint and q-tips, smear paint through the stencil.

Doesn’t it look like mermaid scales?

Well, that’s all for today! Will you try this tutorial?
