Hello there!

I hope you are having a wonderful summer so far. I’m enjoying the extra time to binge watch Netflix and loaf around.  *hehehe* It’s been a very interesting summer.Popsicles, ice cream, music, and hot nights. . .

Anyway, I’m finally revealing my 2019 bullet journal which I promised a long long time ago. I’m currently using a gold Leuchtturm 1917, centennial edition, complete with the fancy gold embossed labels and all (I haven’t used them yet).

The paper is a dream to write on. So far, I’ve used Tombow Dual Tips, Tombow Twintones, Uniball Signo Micro 207 gel pens, and none of them have bled through. Blending Tombow Dual Tips are so easy since the paper is smooth and doesn’t pill.

My favorite pens to use for bullet journalling are Uniball Signo Micro 207 gel pen and Zebra Midliners.

Let’s look inside, shall we?

This first spread is the index or content page, which has already been printed inside in the Leuchtturm 1917 notebook. I’ve listed a few items but I rarely use these pages anyway so I slacked off.

Here’s my 2019 cover page. Isn’t it beautiful? I used a Pentel Sign pen in black to letter “Hello 2019,” and Tombow Twintones from the pastel set to letter “dream, believe, achieve.” I think the skinny washi tape came from a Happy Planner set.

Mood boards are a must! It’s a great spread for the begining of a bullet journal. I printed a few images off of Google and cut some from magazines. And yes, that is a vintage Star Wars trading card of Princess Leia.

The future awaits, and so does my future log. I like to plan well into the future, like a year into the future, so it extends 12 months, not the usual 6 months. Washi tape comes from Michaels.

Hello there, January! That quote, “all good things are wild and free,” is by Emerson. I’m getting a pacific coast/woodsy vibe. Anyone else?

I continued the woodsy vibe here in my first monthly spread. In every monthly spread, I’ll include: a calendar (boxes or a list), playlist of songs I’m lovin’, and a to do list (because I forget). Sometimes I’ll add a list of school projects to get done.

I built this around a pink image I wanted to use for my Christmas week spread but didn’t end up using. It reminds me of fairy tales. It’s girly but not in an overpowering “hot pink” way.

If you know me, you know how much I love to organize everything! I decided to make a tracker for my growing Tombow Dual Tip stash. I currently have the Portrait and Bright set along with a few extras.

I love, love, JUST LOVE staying home and hunkering down with a book and snacks and a big old thermos of tea. Winter was meant for staying at home, no question.

I thought I’d share this weekly spread from January. It’s got a rainy/grey aesthetic, almost sweet and somber. The quote on the bottom left either comes from or is inspired by Harry Potter. The rest are images from Google.

This is my monthly spread for February. It seems to carry the theme from the previous weekly spread–the rainy mood and muted colors. I’m getting almost a magical sense.

WHAM! A punch of bright colors and confidence for ya. And you’re welcome xD.

I’m not quite sure what’s going on here. Pastels ahhhhh. . . Maybe a slightly grown up version of Alice in Wonderland? What do you think?

April. The weather was getting warmer, so I thought I’d inject some citric-ly bright colors into my bullet journal. I think I was hoping for some sunshine after all the rain. I got the vintage stamps from some place selling stationery, home decor, and all manner of aesthetically pleasing stuff in Frederick, MD.

My bullet journal has all sorts of random notes. For instance, here are notes from a college workshop. Isn’t the little house adorable? 🤩 *sketched while trying to pay attention*

April showers bring May flowers and stress and exams and finals. AHH! May is probably the worst and the best month in the whole school year. I went super simple and bare bones here because I didn’t have time to do a really nice collaged spread. 😥

We’re skipping June because well, not much to see. I used 1950s vintage as my inspiration here, with vintage stamps, funky lettering, and some fashion inspo, cut from a magazine.

A lone habit tracker! Yes, that is a Starburst wrapper and the other one is a gum wrapper. But they were so aesthetic and went with this month’s theme so well.

Bullet journalling is definitely a passion and a great way to keep life organized. It’s totaly customizable to your personality. I hope you enjoyed taking a peek inside my personal bujo and took some inspiration.
